Story Behind the Name
When we first saw the cottage, we knew it was the one. As we renovated it, we wanted a name that felt as meaningful as the space itself. Leo was my grandfather, a man who loved building and creating with his hands. His spirit of craftsmanship inspired us, and the name felt right.
For Ken and I, Leo also had special meaning—if we’d had a son, we always planned to name him Leo. So, this cottage became that namesake, a place shaped with love. To complement that, we designed the exterior with bold, masculine touches—with lion statues out front to bring a sense of history and strength.
The Leo Cottage is a tribute to family, craftsmanship, and the simple joys of life. We hope it brings those same feelings to everyone who stays here.
